In this lab, you will see how geologists find the epicenter of an earthquake and how they used to determine the Magnitude of an earthquake.
(Please note that the Richter scale is no longer used. Now it's the moment magnitude which takes into account the area of the fault that ruptured, the distance it moved and the rigidity of the rock.)
